I’m a Writer

One of the benefits of my experience is to be able to pass it on to others. I have taught at every level,  but particularly at Graduate and Post Graduate Level. I have navigated courses through ratification, both Online and physical (Oxford University), acted as an External Moderator (UEA), and been a one-to-one Mentor for the BBC.

Teaching allows me to help others and reflect on my own practice. I have recently set up NGM Writers Workshops to develop my own style of teaching creative writing, in which the feelings generated in the body are as important as understanding the craft.

I can help you access that creative energy and – more important – sustain it. Talk to me about teaching possibilities.

Nicholas is currently a Visitor Lecturer at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, and the London Film School.

He has taught extensively throughout the country, most recently at Aberwystwyth University and Goldsmiths, University of London.

Highlights have included being external Moderator for the University of East Anglia MA (Screenwriting), being a tutor on the M.Phil. Screenwriting for the University of Birmingham, and Creative Arts Fellow at Wolfson College, Oxford.
